Dear guests,

As the season comes to a close and calm settles over the site, we truly feel how much 2025 has meant to us. This is the time of year when the memories stand out most clearly, and the summer's work gains perspective. Storebælt Camping season 2025 has once again been the setting for holiday experiences, community and events that together made the year something special.

We've seen families enjoying the sun by the pool, children running back and forth between the playground and the beach, and guests settling in with a sea view to let their shoulders drop. For us, that's exactly where the magic of camping shows itself – right in the middle of the simple things.

A year full of life

From the first weekend of spring to the last motorhomes rolling out in autumn, the site has been buzzing with activity. 2025 brought both returning guests and many new faces who found their way to Korsør to experience our special location between water, town and nature.

Our location close to the motorway, yet just steps from the beach, creates a rare balance between accessibility and calm. It's been clear that more and more people are choosing exactly that combination – both Danish and international visitors.

The campsite was used in many ways: as a holiday destination, a venue for club gatherings, overnight stays for sports groups, a base for diving competitions, concerts, communal dinners, outings and association events. A broad and varied programme, without any single event coming to dominate.

Season highlights – in brief

2025 included cultural visits, club gatherings, major sports events, concerts, communal dinners, political visitors, the Danish Championship in underwater photography at Halsskov ferry harbour, waterside events, motorhome tourism, association meetings and themed parties. It was a season that, in many ways, reflected the campsite's broad purpose: being a holiday centre, a meeting place and an activity base all at once.

We've seen children, adults, clubs, associations, companies and tourists use the site in their own ways – and it's exactly that versatility that makes Storebælt Camping something special.

The people behind the experiences

While facilities, location and events fill much of everyday life, it's the meetings with people that leave the biggest impression. The early mornings at the shop, conversations over the counter, laughter over breakfast, spontaneous friendships between tents, motorhomes and cabins. The many stories from near and far — and all the small moments that don't appear in any calendar, but are nonetheless at the heart of a good season.

Fishing tips have been shared, tricks for campfire cooking, cycling route recommendations, stories from journeys across Europe — and plenty of good laughs. It's this kind of thing that creates connection and gives the experience value for both guests and hosts.

Partners and organisers

We've once again had the pleasure of working with skilled organisers, dedicated associations and regional partners. This applies both to those who hosted this year's events and those working to strengthen Zealand as a destination. Their efforts have elevated many of the year's activities and created great experiences for the guests who visited us in connection with events.

Storebælt Camping as a meeting place – and a travel destination

We clearly see that camping today isn't just about accommodation. It's about community, freedom, nature and accessibility. It's about flexibility for families, quality for motorhome travellers, and comfort for cabin guests. We'd also like to highlight that our cabins aren't only popular during peak season — they're rented out all year round, and many guests enjoy the calm of winter, the views, and the chance for a stay outside the summer season. That makes Storebælt Camping a year-round destination, where both holidays and short stays are possible regardless of season.

We're noticing growing interest in water activities, short weekend stays, club events and active holiday styles. In addition, international guests have once again filled the site well, and we expect that trend to continue through partnerships and increased visibility.

Looking ahead

The off-season doesn't mean standing still — rather, it's an opportunity to plan, improve and develop. We're already working on new initiatives and improvements to maintain and strengthen Storebælt Camping as an attractive destination.

Our focus remains:

  • Great conditions for families
  • Strong options for motorhome travellers
  • Improved service and facilities
  • More activities and better spaces to relax
  • Development of events and gatherings
  • Continued focus on nature, sea views and presence

We look forward to starting a new season with new ideas, new guests, and hopefully even more returning visitors.

A final word

We are deeply grateful to all of you who chose to spend your holiday, weekend or event with us in 2025. It means a great deal to us — both personally and as a place. We hope you take good memories with you, and that we'll get to welcome you back again next season.

Warm regards,
